Part 1 – How We Process Your Information?
When you purchase goods from our store, we collect personal information from you as part of the buying and selling process, such as your name, address, and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us understand your browser and operating system.
Email Marketing (where applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.
Part 2 – Consent
How do I obtain my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange delivery, or return, you consent to our collection and use of that information only for that specific purpose.
If we need your personal information for secondary reasons (such as marketing), we will directly seek your explicit consent or provide you with an opportunity to refuse.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If you change your mind after choosing to sign up, you can withdraw your consent to allow us to contact you, continue to collect, use, or disclose your information at any time by contacting us via email:
Part Three – Information Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Part Four – Shopify
Our online store is hosted on the Shopify Inc. platform. They provide us with an online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and Shopify applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
Payments:
If you choose to complete a purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify will store your credit card data. This data is encrypted using the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only for the time required to complete the purchase transaction. Once the transaction is complete, your purchase transaction information will be deleted.
All direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard administered by the PCI Security Standards Committee, which is comprised of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
The PCI-DSS requirement helps ensure our store and its service providers handle credit card information securely.
For more information, you can also read Shopify’s Terms of Service (click here) or Privacy Statement (click here).
Part Five – Third-Party Services
Generally, the third-party service providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary for them to provide services to us.
However, some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide to them for transactions related to your purchases.
For these service providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies to understand how they will handle your personal information.
Please note that some service providers may be located in a different jurisdiction than yours or ours, or their facilities may be located in a different jurisdiction. Therefore, if you choose to continue with transactions involving third-party service providers, your information may be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where that service provider or its facilities are located.
For example, if you are in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, the personal information you use to complete that transaction may be disclosed under U.S. law, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you will no longer be bound by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.
When you click on links in our store, you may be redirected to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and recommend that you read their privacy statements.
Section 6 – Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that your personal information is not improperly lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
If you provide us with credit card information, that information will be encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. While no internet transmission or electronic storage method can guarantee 100% security, we comply with all PCI-DSS requirements and implement other generally recognized industry standards.
